I believe from the day he was born Socks chose us to be his family. I had rescued and loved both of his parents, when he and his 14 brothers and sisters came along, honestly I thought my pet parent days were over. As each of them were rehomed, Socks literally refused to go with anyone. He was so feisty from the very beginning. Very vocal and busy, he definitely kept us on our toes. We made great memories together, he loved road trips, snuggling, snacks, and most of all his squeak toys. You can rarely find a photo of him without it. When his parents crossed the rainbow bridge, Socks, my husband, and myself supported each other through it. We have been joined at the hip for the extent of his life and it's hard being without him, sometimes I still hear him in my home, I dream about him💔. He's still in my heart, thank goodness for the time we shared. I appreciate Faithful Friends for the beautiful keepsakes and this forum as an outlet,it's been a few weeks and getting a little easier but he was so special I know I won't fully recover. I love you so much Socks, Thank you for everything, you added so much value to my life. Until we meet again, Mama's big man🐾
