There is no love more pure and unconditional than that between a dog and his owner...so it was with Nike and me from the day we first met. I am grateful for the years I had with him. Before his congestive heart failure worsened, he enjoyed many happy hours at the dog park, walking in the morning to get treats from a friend, Tom, and just cuddled up on my lap, his favorite place to be. His best friend was Trixie Shephard and she, as well as all the others who loved him, miss him very much. See you at the Rainbow Bridge, Nike! Love, Diane
