  2. Kali was adopted from animal control at just 8 weeks old, and from that moment on, she filled her family’s life with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. For 8 beautiful years, she was full of life, personality, and so much love.

Kali loved being outside, soaking up the sun and fresh air, and enjoying the world around her. Her favorite toy was her stuffed animal Lamb Chop, and her favorite food was rotisserie chicken. She had a big personality and an even bigger heart, especially when fire trucks passed by and she would proudly howl along with them.

She shared a special bond with her two cat siblings, Phoebe and Nimbus, and was happiest when everyone she loved was around her. Kali had a way of making home feel fuller, warmer, and more joyful just by being there.

She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. Kali’s memory will live on in every quiet moment outside, every passing fire truck, every Lamb Chop toy, and every heart she touched.

Cancer reduced my pack by one. Not just one, but it took the spark and energy from the pack. I tell myself she wasn’t even my dog. It doesn’t even begin to mask the pain of losing Kali. Kali was my dog. I may not have been her owner, but that didn’t matter to her or me. She was the perfect blend of my soul pack. Her sweetness was unmatched, her kisses were unequaled in number and given with enormous generosity. Kali was eight years old yet somehow kept her “puppy breath.” She was also action, agility, speed, and brains, keeping it slightly Spicy too. Her paw prints on my heart will never fade. My only solace is that I know she’ll find some great dogs waiting for her over the Rainbow Bridge. I'd love to see her and Qotu running wide open again.
