"Mini Pearl" Shank

In Loving Memory of Mini Pearl
Beloved pet of the Shank Family

Mini was adopted from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a puppy. She was adopted by her first mom, Miggie Bade.  She came home to her older brother Max, a Great Dane who "taught her how to dog"  and two human sisters.
After her mom died of breast cancer, Mini and her canine sister, Megara, were adopted by the Shank family, who had loved them since they were puppies and were the adopted,  extended family of the Bade family. We, the Shank family, are grateful for the 4 years we got to spend loving Mini in our home.
Mini was a loving, sensitive, affectionate, sweet, and funny dog with a derpy, snaggle-tooth grin. We liked to say that she was too filled with sweet to have room for brains.  In life, Mini was plagued by anxiety. Her sister, Megara, was her loyal support shadow. We have never known two sisters who were so close.
We are all lost without Mini but we are all better for having loved her and been loved by her.
Mini is survived by her 4- legged sister, Megara, her human brothers Dylan and Devon as well as her loving Aunts Della and Bean, her adoring grandmothers (and generous givers of treats), Magra and MawMaw, her extended family, and her adopted mom, Nanny.  Our hearts and home are left with a huge void but we celebrate the time we shared, the memories we made and the snuggles Mini generously provided.
Max preceded Mini across the Rainbow Bridge and he and her mom, Miggie, were there to welcome her at her crossing.
