    Jesse, the sweetest, toughest little Traveler.
    She logged more flying miles in her 14 years, than the average adult. Over 40 trips to Deer Valley plus many other destinations.
    She accompanied us everywhere we went; and did at least 15 trips to North Carolina(7 in the last year of her life).
    Ruptured a disc at 9, recovered from surgery in 5 days. Got SARS at 11, and went completely blind in 2 days. She kept on trucking, albeit much slower. Until the last week of her life, after going out to pee, she could still find the porch and climb the 5 steps to get in the house(she was a Dachshund with short legs). I'd leave the door cracked a bit, because she'd find it ajar and push it open with her nose. Damn we miss that tough, strong, sweet little girl :-(
