My sweet Sam was just a bag of bones when we brought him home from the shelter on July 11, 2010. With time, good food, and love he became a healthy, vibrant bundle of love who was occasionally grumpy with other dogs especially if they were taller than him. He was tiny but mighty. Sam became a traveling dog in 2015 when I started travel nursing. He has been to several beautiful beaches and hiked many trails. When we were in upstate South Carolina, the puppies and I hiked in the mountains to get a look at the many beautiful waterfalls in the area. My Sam and I had many wonderful adventures. He was well loved in life and we miss him very much. Every day we had with him was a gift.
I will miss our sweet Sam. He was such a good fella. Would wiggle all over cause he was glad to see me. That sweet soft face will stay in my memory. Miss you sweet boy.
