Dixie was an amazing dog. She not only provided love and friendship but she provided guardianship to our family for her 11 years with us. I remember the day we went to pick out a puppy from our friends litter and there she sat, all white with brown spots and more wrinkles than you could count. My dad picked her out and set her in my lap and said, "Here she is." From that moment she was my Dixie-Doodle. She is greatly missed, but she'll remain in my heart forever.
