Buddy was a rescue. He came to us in May of 2012. He was found wandering the streets of North Tampa and I picked him up and brought him to our home. He quickly became acquainted with our pack. Buddy worked his way into our hearts and we found him to be a very special dog. Buddy liked to be around Esther and followed her everywhere on the ranch. Sadly in the summer of 2014 he developed a limp. We took him to the vet and after many trips to specialists it was determined he had bone cancer. We made his final days as comfortable as we could but in the end his suffering outweighed his will to live. I wish everyone could know how much he inspired us and how he still loved life. We know he is ready and waiting for us on the other side and know some day we will see him run to us once again. We will always miss him.
