and canopies shaded green
unmasking leaves
where dew still clings.
sun rides atop
colored palettes
rippling reflections
moving collections
of orange, black, and white
swimming
through deep blue
through filtered light,
as shapes distort
under the pull of water
unleashing activity
like an unruly daughter
rerouting the connectivity
trying to reclaim serenity—
before the day drinks
in identity.
before it rewinds all
the beautiful memories.
