Maddie was the mother to two of our fur Babies. She will live on in their spirit. Thank you Maddie for the impact you had on so many, may your soul reast in peace now. John and Carolyn
I am so thankful for Maddie! We wouldn't have 2 of the best labs ever without her (& Toby)! She will be so missed, but is now pain free! She will live on through all of her pups! -Love, Michelle, Michael, Gabby, Aidan, Pixie & Abby
Maddie was a sweet and loving dog who was a friend to all of the animals in the house. Her best fried was a little cat who would curl up under her chin to sleep. Maddie was a protector and could fight like a wolf, particularly if protecting her Mom. She made "crazy eyes" when she wanted something like a treat or a walk. She was a big dog who always made me laugh when she sat on her big bottom, with a purpose, after being given a command she did not want to obey, clearly saying "nope, I'm not going to do it". Even given her large size, her paws were comparably huge, like a bear paw. She loved to snuggle and it was so calming to hug my "big bear" during a nice long nap.
Maddie produced over 30 puppies to brighten the lives of others. She was the second dog that joined our family and she was the first to leave. The love and devotion of a dog never waivers. They evolved with us. They are part of us.
It is a great sadness that Maddie has left this world. She was a big dog with a huge presence and the hole she left behind is just a huge. I will hold her in my heart forever.
Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog, it merely expands the heart. If you have loved many dogs your heart is very big. – Erica Jong
I was so lucky to be Maddie’s mom. She was a very special dog who had a way of touching your heart and soul. She had beautiful puppies and I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to keep in touch with their parents. Maddie and Toby live on in them. She loved car rides and peanut butter. She was a lab so she loved most any all food. 🤣 There is so much sadness in our house with her gone. The other animals miss her. I miss you so much Maddie it hurts. I wish I could hold you and snuggle you. Mom and dad love and miss you.
Maddie was a companion. She was my cousins personal guard dog. Missy would take her on walks not just as her protector but also her companion. She has left her paw print on everyone’s heart that she met. Including my daughter who claims she isn’t a huge dog person. She may have only met you once but she says you were her favorite. You will be greatly missed.
Maddie was a beloved companion and faithful friend to many. Her sweet spirit and her cuddles will be missed.
