In Loving Memory of Daisy
Beloved pet of the Peterson family

  1. We were so blessed to be with Daisy from her birthday on April 29, 2002 until she moved on to the Bridge on February 25, 2015.

Daisy entered this world with a LOUD announcement of her arrival and she never piped down. She was very vocal about her feeding times and would not let you miss one - ever! She was as super sweet as she was spunky. She was such a joy to have in our family. Daisy loved all her human family members with deep affection. She raised and trained her adopted puppy family members with kind patience and loving grooming sessions.

She was a wonderful companion. As a puppy, Daisy patiently tolerated being dressed in baby clothes and being wheeled about the house in a stroller. When she got a little older, she was quite attentive to and protective of "her" human toddler.

As Daisy matured, she took on the role of pack mother, loving, teaching, and grooming all in the pack. She potty trained several puppies, and taught pack members manners since she was not one to tolerate rudeness.

Daisy was an ever-present and faithful friend. All those fortunate enough to love Daisy will fondly remember her exuberant U-turn greetings, true to her Boxer breed. Her drive-by kisses were frequent and delivered with enthusiasm. She was also hilariously goofy!

Daisy is survived by her 3 human family members and her pack of 4 canine family members. She was most likely greeted at the Bridge by her brother (We love and miss you, Sam!). She will have relatives and friends to play with and take care of while she awaits our arrival at the Bridge.

She will be missed every day. She will never, ever, ever be forgotten.

    Daisy Maisy,

  3. I am really lucky I got the chance to live with the sweet, goofy, daisy for 2 years. In the time I knew you, i saw how much of a sweetheart you really were. You were always, always a sweetheart, no matter how old and cranky you got. I miss your barking when you got hungry, It always gave me happiness when i saw you do that, because you knew you were loved. You gave me so many laughs and good memories in the short time i spent with you daisy and I love you for it. You made a lasting impact on me and everyone around you. We will always remember your special heart.

    Love, Rabea

The love you gave, lessons taught, and conversations had will never be forgotten. Look for your cousin Duncan, I'm sure him and Sammy are hanging out just chilling like the old men they are. Keep them in line ol' girl! Until we see each other again.....Kisses. Will love and miss you always!

  6. I was at a dog park recently and saw a young boxer with the exuberant u turn greeting but, of course, not nearly as exuberant as Daisy. Whether it had been 2 months or 2 hrs it was still the same, with that nub of a tail wagging the whole body. I've had several dogs but was never really close to one until I got Shy Anne, but it was Daisy who made me realize how smart and lovable and full of love a dog could be. She was indeed special.

    Love

  7. Just stopping by to show you some love, Daisy. It's been a little over 2 months since we had to say our goodbyes and we miss you daily. You would have been 13 yesterday and Sam would have been 13 today. You were with us 5 years longer than Sam. We miss you both. Happy birthday, ol' girl. Tell Sam Happy Birthday, too.

    Love, Your Family
