Sprite our Spritey. March 5, 2006 - August 3, 2019. Our little boy was a "singleton". He was the only puppy in the litter. He was bought for Danielle, but over the years, Myron and I spent more and more time with him. I remember when Dani graduated USF and moved into her own apartment, and wanted him back full time, Myron looking at me, and saying "no way, there will be a custody battle". He was joking of course, but serious. I was stuck in the middle, trying to please both of them, all the while of course believing no one could care for him as well as I could. It was reminiscent of bringing the children up. Spritey had the best of both worlds. Two sets of loving parents. Never had to spend a day in a kennel, and the few times all four of us had to attend something together, we had his surrogate parents, Judy and Barry to love on him. I was never a dog owner before our Spritey. I can't imagine not having had him in my life and it's going to be unbearable not having him in my life. If love had been enough, you would have lived forever.
